X-Grid

Design, build and project management

X-Grid's Maldives YP entry says the company was established in 2014 to offer design, build and project management services. The same entry lists architectural, engineering, interior design, construction and interior finishing work, and places the company in Malé. Its Local.mv listing, from December 2019, adds spatial and furniture design, digital media design and corporate branding.

Keeping a project on track

Both directories file it under architecture and interior design. As general guidance for a project that one firm designs and manages, these points help. Ask who runs the site day to day and how often you will get a progress update. Fix the scope in writing, so any change is priced and agreed before it is built. At handover, ask for a list of finishes, paint codes and fittings for future repairs.
