Why we built this
Everyone who has looked for a home in Malé knows the ritual. You find a flat on Facebook, you call, and it is gone — or it never existed, or the photos belong to another building, or the rent grows the moment you ask. The adverts are checked by nobody and posted by people nobody has met, and the cost is paid in wasted calls, wasted viewings and wasted weeks.
Dhoraashi exists to end that ritual. Every home here is verified before it is published, so a listing you can see is a home you can actually rent.
What makes it different
Verification here is a rule, not a favour. Every badge is published as a condition — what has to be in our hands before a listing may carry it — and when the evidence is not in our hands, the listing says so in plain words.
Checks expire in public instead of quietly staying green. Areas with nothing in them say so. We would rather show you a gap than a guess, because the gaps are the part nobody can fake.

Dhoraashi works the way this market actually works: rents in MVR, wards by their real names, landlords reached on Viber, Dhivehi beside English.
It is built by a team with a combined twenty-plus years in Maldivian real estate, across different capacities in the industry, and a combined thirty-plus years of engineering behind the software. We built the site we kept wishing someone would.
