Myanasih

Interiors, finishes and building services for offices, resorts and homes

Myanasih's own project list names work for the Ministry of Tourism offices and OneGov, and resort jobs at Kuramathi Island Resort and Cheval Blanc Randheli. Its website describes Myanasih as an interior design and finishes company for living and working spaces.

Design, turn-key finishing and site management

Its design services cover architectural and interior design, structural and MEP design, quantity surveying and landscape design. MEP means mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and a quantity surveyor measures and costs the materials and work.

Its turn-key interior finishing covers material sourcing, built-in furniture, lacquer paint finishes, electrical and lighting work, and plumbing and tiling. Turn-key means the space is handed over finished and ready to use. Project management on the same page covers site supervision, progress reports, documentation and quality control.

ICT and building services as well

Its ICT line lists room automation, data centre design, CCTV and security, and wired and wireless networks. A building-services list adds fire protection and alarms, lightning protection, HVAC, renewable energy, power systems, swimming pools and sewerage. HVAC is heating, ventilation and air-conditioning.

Its project list shows an environment monitoring system supplied and installed at Kuramathi Island Resort and at Angsana Resorts. The list also gives a UPS installation and acoustic consultation at Cheval Blanc Randheli, and a data centre design and build for Crossroads Maldives. A UPS is a battery unit that keeps equipment powered through a cut.

Dated work on its projects pages

Project pages date an interior design and consultation job for the Ministry of Tourism offices, and an interior design-and-build job for the Crowe offices, to 2020. Its project pages also date a gym interior for Raajje Fitness to 2023, and the ICETO ice cream shop to 2025.

For OneGov, the home page lists architectural, structural, MEP and interior design details with material sourcing. Shops and services on the list include a beauty salon, a clinic and a cosmetic shop.

Team, hours and enquiries

Its About page lists architects, an interior designer, MEP specialists, a quantity surveyor, a structural engineer and an ICT specialist on the team. The same page says its director has more than 17 years in interior architecture, design and build, working with firms in Singapore and the Maldives.

The office is in Malé, and the website gives its working hours as nine to six every day except Friday. Its contact page has a short enquiry form, and the site lists a phone line and email.

Questions to settle before finishes are ordered

Lacquer paint finishing and material sourcing are part of its turn-key work. What follows is general guidance for planning any interior finish, not a claim about Myanasih. Ask to see and approve a physical sample of each finish and material, such as the lacquer colour, tile or board, before anything is ordered.

Its finishing list includes electrical and lighting work, and plumbing and tiling. Ask whether a licensed electrician and plumber will carry out those parts, and who signs the work off.

Quantity surveying is among its design services. Ask for an itemised quote, with materials, fixtures and labour on separate lines, so changes can be priced one item at a time.

Its project management covers progress reports and quality control. Agree how often you get a progress report. Before the final payment, walk through with a snag list, the small faults still to fix, and get the defects period after handover in writing.
