Astech Maldives Pvt Ltd

Locks, cameras and networks from a Malé headquarters

Astech Maldives Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Malé, installs access control, CCTV, door phones and networks, and its home page marks twenty years of service. Its About page describes a team of seasoned professionals covering network design, security systems and communication technology.

Dated jobs on its project list

Its Projects page logs finished jobs by date, the latest a network and camera installation at OPA-Dine Restaurant in Malé in February 2026. Its January 2026 entry shows CCTV, audio and a network fitted at the Ballota shop in Hulhumalé. Earlier entries include security and networking at a Hulhumalé Hospital dialysis centre and a smart parking entry system in Malé. Other entries cover IT set-ups for Ernst & Young and for Ajial International School in Hulhumalé.

Keyless doors and SALTO locks

Its access control service covers keyless entry by RFID card, phone credential or PIN code. An RFID card is a contactless key card that a reader by the door recognises. The page adds remote management, entry logs with alerts, and links to CCTV and fire alarms. A SALTO electronic lock is among the products on its home page, and its project list includes a SALTO smart lock installation for AIMA Construction.

Door phones and the smart home

Its door phone systems pair a video intercom with door release by card, PIN or phone, and calls can be answered from anywhere. For homes, its smart home page automates lights, air conditioning and curtains, run by voice or by a phone app. It also lists smart locks and alarms, multi-room audio and home theatre, routines such as an away mode, and energy monitoring.

Cameras and office networks

Its surveillance service covers high-definition cameras, motion and face-recognition alerts, live viewing on a phone, and footage kept on an NVR or in the cloud. An NVR is the box in a cabinet or on a shelf that saves camera recordings. Its networking work runs from design and planning through structured cabling and the set-up of routers, switches, firewalls and Wi-Fi. Structured cabling means planned network wiring in walls and ceilings, run back to one cabinet.

Brands and wider systems

Its home page names brands including Cisco, Fortinet, Dahua, Grandstream, Magnet Security, Queuebee and SMART Technologies. Its Solutions page adds queue systems, barrier and turnstile gates, conference rooms, classrooms and hospital nurse-call systems. Enquiries go by phone, by email or through a message form on its contact page. Its PinkBazaar entry gives its hours as nine to noon and two to six, Saturday to Thursday, with Friday closed.

Questions for a lock, cabling or network quote

Its access control page links to smart locks. These questions are general guidance for anyone fitting locks, cameras or a network, not claims about Astech Maldives Pvt Ltd. For a smart lock, ask how the door opens in a power cut or with a flat battery, how a lost card or old code is cancelled, and who keeps master access.

Its networking page also lists upgrading and expanding existing networks. Where fresh cable is planned, ask for the cable category in writing, how it will be hidden (trunking along the wall surface or conduit buried in it), and who makes good the paintwork. Have the quote list every router, switch, firewall, door reader and camera by make and model, and show the maker's cover apart from the fitter's own.

Network certification and testing also appears on its list. In an office, ask for each cable run to be tested and numbered at both ends, and for the test results to be handed over.
