Safe Network

An IT security firm for homes and small offices

Both Local.mv entries for Safe Network present it as an IT security company. The longer entry, written in the company's own voice, dates its start-up to 2014. That entry says it offers IT solutions and on-premise security for businesses. On-premise means the system sits in your own building, not in an online service. The same entry says its products and services are tailored to homes and to small and medium-sized businesses.

Networks, cable and camera accessories

Its entries file it under networking solutions, CCTV and network accessories, computers and IT, desktops and cables. Both entries also carry a tag for wireless internet. The newer entry describes an unscreened network cable that can carry PoE. PoE sends power down the same cable as the data, so a camera or Wi-Fi point needs no socket beside it.

Managed IT, a support centre and server rooms

A banner on the longer entry headlines managed IT services: monitoring, maintenance and technical support for a whole network. Managed IT means one firm looks after your computers and network all year, rather than only when something breaks. Another image on that entry names the Safe Network Support Center as its technical support desk.

The cover image on the newer entry offers server room design and planning, layout included. A server room holds an office's central computers and network gear, so cooling, backup power and tidy racks all count.

Computer repairs in Malé

On iBay, the Maldives classifieds site, adverts that carry the same contact details sit in the Computer Repairs section for Malé (Male). The latest was updated in March 2026, and another in May 2025.

Before cabling, support or repair work

Cables are one of the categories on its newer Local.mv entry. What follows is general guidance for any network or IT job, not a claim about Safe Network. On an office job, request a test report for every cable, and a label at both ends of each one. Ask what grade of cable is planned, whether it will hide in conduit (a protective pipe) or trunking (a surface channel), and who makes good the plaster.

iBay adverts that carry the same contact details sit under computer repairs. When a computer goes in for repair, ask for a diagnosis before any work starts, a copy of your files first, and the new part named in writing.

Ongoing maintenance for a whole network is part of its managed IT banner. For a yearly support plan, agree in writing which machines it covers, how you report a fault, and how often someone visits.
