Raajje' Online (ROL)

A home-grown provider with equal upload and download

Raajje' Online (ROL) has served customers since 20 February 2003, its About page says, and calls itself a fully Maldivian brand. Every one of its internet plans carries symmetrical bandwidth, which its FAQ explains as upload speed matching download speed.

GigaFi fibre for flats and houses

GigaFi Home Fiber is its residential fibre service, aimed at streaming, browsing and gaming. The residential page groups the plans as Super Value, Limitless Starter, Limitless Basic and Limitless Plus. Once a plan's allowance is used up, the speed is lowered, the page says.

A router you already own can be used if it works on the ROL network, and the team will set it up, according to the FAQ. Its FAQ also lets customers pay for a ROL modem in instalments over three months. A news post from July 2026 says residents moving into the new FDC flats in Hulhumale phase 2 (Hulhumalé Phase 2) can now apply.

Signing up and running your account

New connections can be requested at its front office or through an online application, its FAQ says. Customers change plans and check their allowance in the myROL portal. A plan change can also be asked for by message on social media or the website, or through a customer care hotline.

Lines and IT services for organisations

For companies, its business page offers Direct Internet Access, a line with dedicated bandwidth, and leased lines that join business locations. Its services page adds structured cabling, with planning and support, and firewall services. It also offers hosting, colocation in its data centre, and a hotspot service that needs no hardware on site. VSaaS, its cloud CCTV service, stores and manages camera footage online. A June 2025 post says ROL is an authorised Odoo integrator with certified staff, Odoo being business management software.

Organisations its business and services pages list as users include Bank of Maldives, Islamic University of Maldives, Unicef Maldives, Island Aviation Services and JW Marriott Maldives. At the TechEng exhibition in Hulhumalé in October 2025, a news post on its website says, ROL showed connectivity, cloud services, IPTV, surveillance, storage and hotel automation. IPTV is television delivered over the internet instead of an aerial or satellite dish.

Listings and a northern network link

Its Maldives YP listing places it in Male (Malé) under communications, broadcasting, internet service providers, broadband and telecom consultants. Satlink Online's coverage page says the Satlink network reaches from Malé north to Ihavandhoo in Haa Alif atoll together with Raajje Online.

Checklist for a home connection

A news post on its own website lists IPTV among the services it showed in October 2025. Take these as general advice for any household signing up for TV or internet, not as claims about Raajje' Online (ROL). Before you subscribe, ask which box or app each service needs, who will install it, and how to log a fault once it is live.

Its July 2026 news post invites residents of the new FDC flats in Hulhumalé Phase 2 to apply. In a newly built block, find out whether fibre already reaches your door or must be pulled from the ground floor, and pick a central spot for the router.

Equal upload and download speed comes with all its plans. If your household sends a lot of data out, through video calls, cloud backups or cameras watched from away, ask for each plan's upload speed in writing.
