PEST – Environmental Pest Control Service Maldives

Born to serve the Kaimoo properties

Its About page says Environmental Pest Control Service started out as Malé Pest Control, set up to look after the properties of Kaimoo, its parent company. Its About page gives 1996 as the year it was established.

A Maldives Times report adds that the company later took its services to other resorts and businesses. It is registered as Environmental Pest Control Services Pvt Ltd, and the national business registry names Kaimoo Travels and Hotel Services and KAM Company as its shareholders.

Four treatments, with a question beside each

The home page names four treatments under the heading Our Services. The questions beside each one are general guidance for anyone booking pest control. Whatever the pest, ask which method the team plans to use and why it suits that pest.

General pest control covers cockroaches, flies, ants, rats and mosquitoes. Tell the team which of these you see and in which room, and send a photo if you can.

Termite control comes in two forms, before construction and after it. Pre-construction work treats the ground before a building goes up; post-construction work protects a building that already stands. For termites in an existing home, ask for an inspection first, and ask whether the plan reaches the colony or only the damaged wood.

Bed bug control and caterpillar control complete the list. Should pests return after any treatment, what happens next? Ask for the re-treatment terms in writing.

Standards in its own words

Its About page says its treatments conform to the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The same page says it chooses low-toxic public health formulations, made for the food and catering industry, wherever possible.

It also says it takes on large and small projects alike while keeping its customer care personal. Guest-house, restaurant and office owners weighing a yearly contract should find out the visit count, the checks done on each round, and the fee for any extra call in between.

Based in Malé

Its website and its registry entry both place the company in Malé. Its contact page invites enquiries by telephone, mobile and email. On Facebook it appears as Environmental Pest Control Services. A business activity registration on its registry entry was issued in September 2026.
