Kingston Technologies

Founded in 2017 for the Maldivian market

Kingston Technologies was founded in 2017 to serve the Maldivian market, according to its listing on Local.mv, a Maldives business directory. The listing files it under computers and IT, laptops and desktops. Networking solutions sit there as well, together with CCTV and network accessories.

Buying a laptop or a camera kit

Its listing points to a Facebook page for the business. Here is some general guidance for buying IT equipment; none of it describes Kingston Technologies. Ask whether a laptop is new or refurbished, and who handles a warranty claim with the maker. For CCTV, plan each camera's view before mounting it, and keep it on your own door, not a neighbour's. Keep a receipt that shows model names, which makes later repairs and upgrades simpler.
