Floors in Malé and Hulhumalé, woodwork in Phase 1

On its own Hiyaa page, project akey offers flooring works in Malé and Hulhumalé. A second listing, filed under Carpentry & Woodwork, is placed in Hulhumalé Phase 1. Both went up on Hiyaa, a Maldives rentals and home-services site, in June 2026.

Getting a floor priced

The flooring listing takes enquiries by phone. Here are general tips for any new floor, offered as good practice rather than a description of project akey. Ask how the old surface will come up and how the base will be levelled, as bumps underneath show through new tiles or boards. Agree how edges meet the walls, for example with skirting, the strip along the foot of a wall. Where one floor meets another at a doorway, ask how the join will be finished.
