5m's Solutions

Kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and custom furniture

5m's Solutions is a carpentry business whose Hiyaa listing names three kinds of work: kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and custom furniture. Hiyaa, a Maldives rentals and home-services site, files it under Carpentry & Woodwork, and Hiyaa's own team created the listing on 14 April 2026. The same contact details also sit on PinkBazaar, a business directory, under the name 5MS WORKSHOP, filed as a carpenter in Malé.

Areas, hours and getting in touch

Its Hiyaa listing names Malé, Hulhumalé and Villimalé as the areas it covers, and the provider page places it in Malé. The 5MS WORKSHOP entry gives its hours as 9 am to 6 pm on six days a week, with Friday closed. Both directories take enquiries by phone and WhatsApp, and Hiyaa also links to its Facebook and Instagram pages.

Planning a kitchen, a wardrobe or a one-off piece

Kitchen cabinets lead the service list on its Hiyaa listing. The points below are general guidance for anyone ordering fitted furniture from any workshop. For a kitchen, ask for a measured drawing that shows every cabinet, the sink and the cooker space, and sign it off before any board is cut. Ask which board the cabinet boxes use, and whether it resists moisture near the sink. Have the hinge and drawer-runner brand written into the quote, and say if you want soft-close fittings.

Wardrobes come second on the same list. In a small bedroom, ask whether sliding doors would save space over hinged ones. Agree the inside layout in writing: hanging rails, shelves and drawers. Ask how the back panel will be protected from damp if the wardrobe stands against an outside wall.

Custom furniture completes the three services, and the listing covers Villimalé and Hulhumalé as well as Malé. For a one-off piece, bring a photo or a sketch, and ask to see a sample of the finish before work starts. If the job is outside Malé, ask how the finished pieces will travel and whether transport and fitting are both in the quote. Before the first visit, measure the width of your stairs, lift and doors, so large pieces can reach the room.
