LinkServe

LinkServe: security, networks and smart systems

LinkServe trades on its own website as Link Serve Maldives, and its About page gives the company name as Link Serve Private Limited. The site says it has deployed and supported security, networking and smart solutions across the Maldives since 2002. Its About page describes a team of more than eighty-five professionals working from three outlets, with nationwide reach.

What it installs

Its home page groups the work into security and surveillance, networking and connectivity, smart home and automation, and renewable energy. The Capabilities page adds enterprise deployment and maintenance to those lines.

Showrooms and the brands on its shelves

Its Retail and Distribution page names showrooms in Malé, Hulhumalé and Kulhudhuffushi, with authorised retail and on-island distribution. Its Brands page lists Hikvision, Ubiquiti, Netgear, ZKTeco, APC, Yeastar, MSI and Logitech among the brands it carries. The website gives Malé as its base and takes enquiries by phone and email.

Projects in banking, government and hospitality

Its Case Studies page covers deployments across banking, government, hospitality and public infrastructure. The page names work for Bank of Maldives, Maldives Ports, Malé City Council, Kaimoo Resorts and the Maldives National Stadium.

Planning a security or network install

The pointers here are general guidance for security or network work at home or in an office, not claims about LinkServe. Maintenance is one of the lines on its Capabilities page. Settle aftercare before the job starts: who you call when a camera or router stops working, whether a fix can be done remotely, and how maintenance visits are arranged.

Smart home and automation is one of its solution lines. For smart-home devices, ask which app runs them, who creates the accounts, and what still works when the internet connection drops.

Security and surveillance is one of the solution lines on its home page. When cameras go in, ask for each one to be marked on a simple floor plan with its viewing angle, and keep outdoor cameras trained on your own entrance.

Its Brands page names camera and networking makers such as Hikvision and Ubiquiti. Ask for the quote to name the brand and model of each device, from cameras and recorders to switches and access points, so offers can be compared like for like.

Networking and connectivity sits among its solution lines too. At handover, collect labelled cable ends, written Wi-Fi details and the admin logins for each device.
