Building work under way in 2026

Inoca's news page, updated on 28 September 2026, reports that foundation works have begun for a new high-rise building. In June 2026 the same page reported that a restaurant building it is putting up in Hulhumalé had reached the finishing stage. The company trades as iNOCA Pvt Ltd, with its office in Hulhumalé and a second contact address in Malé.

Home repairs, renovation and waterproofing

Its repair and maintenance service is described as improvements to your home or apartment. The services page adds home and office renovation, resort refurbishment, and civil and structural works. Advance waterproofing appears as a service of its own. Waterproofing seals a roof, bathroom or balcony so water cannot soak into the rooms below.

For new buildings, it lists houses and apartments, offices and shops, resorts and hotels, and institutional buildings and mosques. Under design and build, it offers architectural design and turnkey construction. Turnkey means the builder hands over a finished building, ready to move into. A property arm covers joint-venture housing, long-term leasing and property management. Its Local.mv listing files it under construction and under renovation and refurbishment.

Hulhumalé plots, schools, resorts and the airport

Its project list includes several new buildings on Hulhumalé plots and a renovation contract for another Hulhumalé property. For public clients, the list names school buildings and halls for the Ministry of Education, and rowhouse finishing works for the Housing Development Corporation. Resort work on the list includes refurbishment at Vakkaru Maldives, projects for Anantara, and a lounge for Cheval Blanc Randheli. It also lists a Dhiraagu building, an airport perimeter fence for MACL, a Jumeirah airport lounge and office interior works for ALBA.

An engineering medal and written policies

In January 2023 its news page announced that iNOCA had received the IFAWPACA Civil Engineering Gold Medal. IFAWPACA brings together contractors' associations from Asia and the Western Pacific, and the article says the medal weighed HR quality, management policies and construction methods.

Its policies page commits to safe plant and equipment, and to training and supervision so that staff work safely. A quality policy, offered in English and Dhivehi, commits to monitoring and improving its quality management system.

Pricing, supervision and putting things right

Its About page promises fixed-price quotes, with every project planned and tracked against a completion date. The same page names trade-qualified tradesmen, project managers and site supervisors, with its own people overseeing subcontracted trades. It also says that if a client is ever dissatisfied with its workmanship, the company will put it right. Enquiries go by phone or email, and the contact page carries a feedback form.

Planning a renovation: questions worth asking

Its About page describes a complete on-site service run by project managers and site supervisors. The questions below are general guidance for any home renovation in Malé or Hulhumalé, not statements about Inoca. Before anyone names a figure, ask for a visit to measure and photograph the job, so each quote you compare covers the same work. Ask who shifts and wraps your furniture, who protects the floors, and who carts the rubble away. Ask how long the builder stands behind the workmanship, what that cover includes, and to have it on paper. In a block of flats, check whether the building or landlord must approve the work, which hours are allowed, and whether materials may go up in the lift.
