Deep cleaning and disinfection, backed by European equipment

CleanTech, which news reports call CleanTech Maldives, is a deep cleaning and disinfection company; in August 2025 those reports described it bringing European cleaning equipment to the Maldives. Two business news sites reported that it would sign exclusive Maldives distribution agreements with Medeco Cleantech and Hyla at its 'Breathe Clean, Live Pure' showcase. Its Local.mv listing places the business in Henveiru, Malé, and its Facebook page carries the name 'CleanTech - Maldives'.

The machines behind the work

Hotelier Maldives describes the Medeco system as chemical-free steam cleaning for guest rooms, kitchens and public areas. The same report presents Hyla as a German-engineered vacuum and air purifier that uses water filtration to remove fine dust, bacteria, allergens and odours.

Its website's Tech menu lists electrostatic technology, with Victory handheld and backpack sprayers, steam technology from Medeco Cleantec, and air technology from Delphin. An electrostatic sprayer gives each droplet of disinfectant an electric charge, so the mist clings to surfaces and wraps around edges.

Kitchen hoods, from homes to resort kitchens

Its Local.mv listing names kitchen and hood cleaning, and a feature in The Edition is devoted to its professional hood cleaning service. A kitchen hood is the canopy over the cooker that draws off grease and smoke. Both showcase reports say the event would launch a steam-based professional kitchen hood cleaning service for resort and institutional kitchens.

The Edition adds that it also cleans other home equipment, such as appliances, floors and cabinets.

Homes, businesses and boats

Its Local.mv listing names dust-mite removal and carpet cleaning, carried out with special equipment. Its website covers marine, residential and commercial cleaning, plus professional disinfection. The service menu adds AC cleaning, bathroom deep cleaning and commercial kitchen cleaning, and a business menu offers pest control and home renovations.

The showcase itself was pitched at resorts and hotels, property managers, facility and engineering managers, and professional cleaning firms.

How a job starts

Its home page sets out three steps: book an inspection by call or message, get a flexible quote, then confirm the job. The same page says it tailors each job to the customer rather than offering a one-size-fits-all service.

Briefing a deep-cleaning firm: general guidance

Its process opens with an inspection visit. Use these prompts as general guidance when you brief any deep-cleaning firm. Before anyone visits, send photos of each room and of any stains or mould, so the first figure is close to the real job.

Curtain deep cleaning and mattress cleaning both appear on its menu. For curtains, sofas, carpets or mattresses, ask which method the team plans, such as shampoo, hot-water extraction or steam, and how long the fabric takes to dry.

Its menu also names a service it calls eco-friendly cleaning. If small children, pets or anyone with allergies share the home, ask which products the team will use and get their names in writing.

Granite polishing and building exterior cleaning are on its list too. For stone floors or outside walls, ask how the crew protects nearby surfaces and how it handles anything damaged during the work.
