9T9 Showroom: Wi-Fi, cameras and IT systems from Malé

9T9 Showroom is the shop of 9T9 Business Solutions, an information and communication technology (ICT) company that its About page says was established in 2008. The showroom is based in Malé. Its About page says its clients range from startups and small businesses to large enterprises, in fields such as finance, healthcare and retail.

Home Wi-Fi and office networks

Its services page lists Wi-Fi set-up for homes, and office network set-up or upgrades. For larger sites, it names Wi-Fi infrastructure for hotels and offices, and structured cabling, the fixed network cables run through a building, in both standard network cable and fibre. It sets up and troubleshoots routers, switches, servers and backup systems, and configures firewalls, the devices that screen traffic between a network and the internet.

Businesses that would rather hand over their IT can use its managed IT service, where 9T9 runs that work on their behalf. Desktop and laptop repair and IT consultancy are on the list as well.

Cameras, door phones and alarms

On the security side, its services page covers CCTV camera systems and IP surveillance, meaning cameras that send footage over the network, from installation to commissioning. Its camera shop carries analogue and IP cameras, DVRs and NVRs (the recorders that store CCTV footage), and accessories, with a Hikvision section. For homes, the range includes Tapo pan-and-tilt Wi-Fi cameras and outdoor Wi-Fi cameras.

Its list of systems also takes in video door phones, intruder alarms, biometric or card-based door access, hotel door locks, and IP PBX office phone systems that run over the network.

Wi-Fi gear in its online shop

The Wi-Fi section of its online shop lists ceiling-mounted access points (the boxes that broadcast Wi-Fi), range extenders, whole-home mesh units and network controllers. Product lines named there include UniFi, Omada and Deco, plus mobile Wi-Fi hotspots. Other shop sections cover network switches, UPS units (battery back-up power), smart-home devices, video door phones and smart locks.

Ordering, opening hours and support

Items in its online shop can go into a quotation list as well as a cart. The site footer gives business hours from Saturday to Thursday. Its contact block offers phone, email and Viber. The menu also lists Support, Manuals, Software and Dhivehi Fonts pages.

Questions to settle before you buy or book

Treat the points below as general guidance for kitting out a home or office network; they make no claim about 9T9 Showroom. This business both sells equipment online and lists installation work. Buying the kit from the firm that will fit it? Ask whether configuring each device comes with the purchase, and where a faulty unit goes during its warranty.

Mesh units and range extenders both sit in its Wi-Fi range. Before choosing either, walk the flat with your phone and note where video calls stutter. One weak corner may need only an extender; weak signal across several rooms points towards mesh.

CCTV camera systems appear on its installation list. For cameras, agree how long recordings are kept and how you view them away from home. Keep the master password in your own hands, and angle outdoor cameras at your own entrance, away from neighbours' windows.

Structured cabling is part of its work as well. If new cables are needed, ask whether they will run in trunking, the plastic channel fixed along a wall, and who repaints afterwards.
