Apartment Movers & Services

Flat moves across Greater Malé

Apartment Movers & Services moves homes across Malé, Hulhumalé and Villimalé, and takes furniture apart and puts it back together. On its Hiyaa listing, the business says it has been serving since 2019. Its listing went up on Hiyaa, a Maldives rentals and home-services site, on 20 April 2026.

There its name reads 'Apartment movers & Ac services', with the work filed under Moving & Setup. On PinkBazaar, a business directory, the same contact details sit under Movers and Packers in Malé. That listing gives its hours as open around the clock, every day of the week.

Booking, then moving day stage by stage

Bookings go by phone or WhatsApp from either listing, and its Hiyaa page links to a Facebook page. The tips below are general guidance for any flat move in Greater Malé, not statements about Apartment Movers & Services. Before the quote: walk the mover through each room on a video call, so the price reflects the real load and not a guess. Packing: ask whether boxes, tape and bubble wrap come with the crew or are yours to buy, and who packs the kitchen. Stairs and lifts: give the floor number and the lift size at both buildings. A narrow stairwell can decide whether a sofa has to come apart or a fridge needs its doors taken off.

Taking furniture apart: this business lists dismantling and rebuilding furniture alongside the move itself. Worth asking: which pieces will be taken apart, and who brings the tools and fittings to rebuild them at the new flat? Crossing between islands: a move from Malé to Villimalé goes by ferry, and a move to Hulhumalé goes over the bridge. Ask how the load travels and whether the crew stays with it. Fragile and valuable items: photograph them before packing, and agree before the day how any breakage will be handled. On arrival: check each room against your list before the crew leaves, and keep screws and fittings in a labelled bag.
