AGS Movers Maldives

A global mover with a Maldives desk

AGS Movers Maldives handles removals to and from the Maldives for AGS Worldwide Movers, working in partnership with local removal companies. AGS is part of the Mobilitas group, and its About page traces the business back to 1974. The same page describes a family-owned business that serves clients on five continents.

Moves it offers from the Maldives

The Maldives page offers international moves, domestic moves, office moves, secure storage and vehicle transfer. It sets out a move abroad in five steps. They run from first contact and a home inspection with quotation, through packing and transport, to unpacking and arranging the new home.

Its international moves page says air and sea freight can be combined, so essentials fly while bulky furniture travels by ship. AGS says it has developed its own packing materials and methods for these moves.

How AGS picks its Maldives partners

The Maldives page lists the tests AGS applies when it chooses a local partner. They include FIDI membership or FAIM accreditation, financial health, equipment, customer care standards and a history of working with AGS. FIDI is a worldwide federation of international moving companies, and FAIM is the quality standard it sets for its movers.

Storage between homes

Its storage page describes goods wrapped, listed on a packing list with each box marked, and stacked in wooden pallet boxes. The boxes are sealed in the owner's presence, according to the same page. It lists fire alarms, round-the-clock CCTV and air-conditioning for sensitive goods among its storage features. Household goods, fine art, vehicles and documents are among the things it stores.

Support through the move

Its Why Choose Us page describes a department set up for client satisfaction that stays with each move from start to finish. The same page names customs clearance among the areas where AGS has know-how.

Getting a quote for a move abroad

You can request a quote online from the Maldives page, which carries a quote button for each service. Moving overseas from Malé or Hulhumalé? This general guidance helps when you compare quotes from any international mover; it is not a statement about AGS. Ask whether the price follows a home survey, so the volume is measured rather than guessed. Point out items that may need a special crate, such as art, glass or large screens. Ask who prepares the customs papers at each end, and which documents you must supply. Explain how goods leave your building, especially from a high floor with a small lift. If you need storage between homes, ask how stored items are listed and how you reach them.
